WOM and facebook status messages

Are you influenced more by positive or negative WOM? Research indicate negative. Do we spread the good word or the nasty word? Overwhelmingly the grape wine thrives on negative. I may want to share the joy, spread sweetness and light and be the gospel on facebook; but mostly I am too much involved with the real world in moments of joy.
I have a hypothesis that, when one tends to be depressed , facebook provides an easy way to vent out the frustration with out being worried about immediate feedback if you do the same in physical networks.
Lately my status messages were morose. I infer from this that my mood was bad. When you have facility of mobile updates, such negativity may also propagate fast.
Does facebook make you feel good?
